Determine if the Cartridge is Non
Virgin
A.
Any other ball or plug in top fill hole besides OEM
B. Small ball rolling around inside the cartridges.
C. Various marks on circuit connection of flex tape.
D. Ink in the cartridge other than OEM.
E. A seal or cover over the labyrinth (bubble generator).
F. Non-OEM hole (drilled) into the cartridge.
G. Evidence of cartridge cap has been removed and glued back
on

Inspection Criteria
A.
Damaged Flex Tape
1.
Bubbled
2. Pealing from ends
3. Discolored or ink appears under the flex tape
4. Cracked flex tape

B.
Damage to plastic case
1.
Cracked plastic case (appears on sides & corners)
2. Damage or broken hold down bracket
3. Excessive scratches in plastic case
C.
Damage to print-head or nozzle plate.
1.
Deep scratches in head
2. Holes appear in head
3. Nozzle plate is missing
4. Nozzle plate should not be gouged
5. Labyrinth (bubble generator) and it's cover should not be
cracked or leaking. |
